Steam & IC Engineering Lab
Steam lab has equipped with thermax boiler (Diesel fired water tube), 1kW generator, coupled with impulse turbine.
I.C Engines lab equipped with two-stroke single cylinder petrol engine, four stroke single cylinder slow and high speed diesel engine equipped with electronically controlled hot and cold EGR system and high speed data acquisition system, four stroke four cylinder high speed petrol engine. Engines are loaded with mechanical, eddy current, electrical resistive and hydraulic dynamometer. The engine exhaust emission measured with a help of AVL Di-gas analyzer and AVL standard smoke meter.
