K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology

K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology (KSRCT) was established in 1994 and is located on a scenic campus near Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu. It is a pioneering institution in providing quality technical education, offering 14 undergraduate (UG), 11 postgraduate (PG), and 20 Ph.D. Programmes. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. KSRCT has been granted autonomous status by UGC and secured the 99th position in the NIRF 2017 ranking and a 201-300 rank band in the NIRF Engineering Ranking 2024. The institution is twice sponsored by DST-FIST, and eight UG departments (80% of eligible UG Programmes) and one PG department are accredited by NBA under the Tier 1 category. Additionally, the institute is accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade. The college provides a holistic learning experience with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including an AICTE-IDEA Lab, an ATAL Community Innovation Centre, and an MSME Business Incubator. Its Institutions Innovation Council has been awarded the highest rating of 4 stars (IIC 6.0) with mentor status. KSRCT has received ₹6.5 crore in funding from the National Technical Textile Mission (NTTM) for technical textiles and ₹1.98 crore for geotextile, fostering cutting-edge R&D. The institution also offers NASSCOM Future Skills Prime certifications, digital libraries, a TNSCST IPR Cell, and multiple Centers of Research Excellence to enhance students' technical skills. Furthermore, Anna University has approved KSRCT as a research institute, with research centers actively engaged in consultancy and R&D projects for government organizations such as DST, DBT, DAE, CSIR, DRDO, and ISRO, along with collaborations with private industries.
