About Department
The Department of Mathematics is one of the most prominent Department in K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode. It was established in the year 1994. It is committed to teach various mathematics courses for both under graduate and post graduate programmes. The total members of faculty in the department are 17, with 8 doctorates and 7 pursuing their doctoral programmes. Four of our faculty members have been recognized as research supervisors by Anna University, Chennai. The department has a separate library and computer laboratory conducive for carrying out the research. The members of faculty are actively engaged in performing research to implement the innovative ideas in various fields like Differential Equations, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Intuitionistic Fuzzy, Graph Theory, Fuzzy Differential Equations, Numerical Methods and Image Processing and consistently publishing papers in refereed National, International Journals and Conferences. The software’s available in the department related to research are MATLAB, Ansys, SPSS, Scilab and R Programming. Department of Mathematics is collaborated with various engineering departments to effectuate multidisciplinary research.

Dr.K.Senthilvadivu is a Professor & Head in the Department of Mathematics, K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode . She has received her Master of Science and Master of Philosophy from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and Doctorate from Anna University,Chennai. She has a teaching experience of 28 years. Her research interests include Computational Fluid Dynamics, Data Analytics and Image Processing. She has been acted as Deputy Controller of Examinations from 2010 to 2017. She has published 9 papers in refereed National and International journals. She has published 3 papers in National and International Conferences. She has authored 4 textbooks. She has published 1 patent. She is an active member of ISTE.
