The Department of B.Tech Computer Science and Business Systems established in the year of 2020 it bridges the gap between technology and business, offering a unique blend of technical and managerial skills to its students. This interdisciplinary program equips students with a strong foundation in computer science principles, coupled with an understanding of business operations, strategy, and management. Students delve into core computer science subjects such as programming, data structures, algorithms, and computer networking, while also gaining insights into business analytics, project management, e-commerce, and entrepreneurship. The curriculum emphasizes practical, hands-on learning experiences through internships, industry projects, and case studies, preparing students for diverse roles in the tech-driven business world. Dr.K. Mahalakkhmi is an enthusiastic and capable assistant professor with over 16 years of experience in the Computer Science and Business Systems department at K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode. She is a highly accomplished scholar who holds a master's degree in computer science and engineering (M.E.), Completed Ph.D. at Anna University. She is a lifetime member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). Motivated by a desire to spread knowledge, Mahalakkhmi skillfully strikes a balance between technology and education, with a comprehensive understanding of emerging technologies and software development among her areas of expertise. She handled technical subjects encompassed with Compiler Design, Cryptography and Network Security, Database Management Systems, Theory of Computaion, Fundamentals of computer programming, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Python programming. She attended Workshop on High Impact Teaching Skills on Mission 10 X by Wipro. She attended ISTE Coordinator’s Workshop on Cyber Security in IIT Bombay. Her work extends beyond the classroom and innovative contributions to publications and research.
