About Department
The Department of B.Tech Computer Science and Business Systems established in the year of 2020 it bridges the gap between technology and business, offering a unique blend of technical and managerial skills to its students. This interdisciplinary program equips students with a strong foundation in computer science principles, coupled with an understanding of business operations, strategy, and management. Students delve into core computer science subjects such as programming, data structures, algorithms, and computer networking, while also gaining insights into business analytics, project management, e-commerce, and entrepreneurship. The curriculum emphasizes practical, hands-on learning experiences through internships, industry projects, and case studies, preparing students for diverse roles in the tech-driven business world. With a focus on innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving, the Department of B.Tech Computer Science and Business Systems nurtures future leaders capable of leveraging technology to drive business growth, optimize operations, and create value in various industries.

PO1: Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering
fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering
problems.

PO2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

Dr. K. Sakthivel received the M.E. (Computer Science and Engineering) degree in 2005, and Ph.D. degree in 2012. He is working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology (Autonomous), Tiruchengode. He has 25 years of teaching experience. He has published papers in several international journals and conferences. His areas of research interest include image retrieval using hierarchical agglomerative and K-Means clustering algorithms. He is an active member of ISTE and IAENG.
