Dr. R. Gopalakrishnan, currently serving as the Principal and Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology in Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu, holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Systems, from Anna University, Chennai, completed in 2015. With over 24 years of experience, he has held various positions in academia and industry. His academic journey includes an M.E. in Power Systems from Annamalai University in 2004, a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology in 2000, and a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Salem Polytechnic in 1997.

Dr. Gopalakrishnan's expertise extends to mentoring and research, evident from his role as the Chief Mentor at Idea Lab, GEMCP, and as an Expert Member of AICTE NEAT 3.0. He has been involved in numerous projects sanctioned by prestigious agencies like TNSCST, AICTE, DST, and others, focusing on innovation and educational development. Additionally, he has made significant contributions to academic publications and intellectual property, with 2 patents granted, 15 patents published, and 5 patents filed. His scholarly output includes 31 paper publications (15 in journals and 16 in conferences), reflecting his dedication to advancing knowledge and technology.

As a recognized Ph.D. supervisor at Anna University, he has supervised several scholars in diverse areas such as hybrid level set intelligent mechanisms, blockchain-enabled decentralized trust management, and optimal power quality management, among others. Currently, 1 scholar has completed.

Dr. M. K. Elango, had completed his B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Madras University, Chennai, M.E. degree in Power System Engineering at Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Annamalai University, Chidambaram and Ph.D. degree at Anna University in the years 1997, 2004 and 2012 respectively. He was a University First Rank Holder in his Master’s Degree. He has 27 years of teaching experience and research experience of 15 years. He is working in K. S. Rangasamy College of Technology from 1997 at different levels like Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. His research work focuses on “Efficient energy management system for Renewable energy sources” and “Intelligent controllers for Power Quality Analysis”. 01 Ph.D Scholar is doing their research under his supervision. He has supervised 24 PG scholars. He has guided 25 UG projects. He has published 19 international journal papers. He handled a sponsored project sanctioned by Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology. He received total of grants Rs 7, 14, 000 from ATAL(AICTE), AICTE, and IEI to conduct various faculty development program and completed successfully. He is doing consultancy to the Poultry Farms and Hospitals for improvement of their operations and productivity. He was selected as one of the Finalists for the “Best Techno Faculty Award” conducted by ICTACT a couple of times. He was a topper in NPTEL Examinations three times for the courses, Microprocessor and Microcontroller and Smart Grid Technologies and Microprocessor and Interfacing conducted by IITs. He had attended 12 National and 21 International conferences, 23 workshops, 05 STC and 03 seminars. He had organized 05 workshops, 09 conferences and delivered more than 25 lectures. Under his support, the Outcome Based Education (OBE) has been successfully implemented in the department and the UG degree programme (B.E.-EEE) is accredited twice by the NBA (Latest is under TIER I Category) and PG Degree in Power Electronics and Drives once.

Dr.P.Premkumar is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology. He has received a B.E. from Bharathiyar University, in 2001, the M.E. degree in from Anna University, in 2004, and a Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai, in 2015. He has been teaching experience for 23.5 years in total. His research interests Embedded Systems, Internet of Things and VLSI. He has published more than 08 papers in international referred journals and 05 conference papers. He is a reviewer for reputed journals. He is an active member of ISTE.

Dr.P.Aravindan is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode. He has a rich academic background, having completed his B.E. at Shanmugha College of Engineering, Thanjavur (SASTRA University), followed by an M.E. at Annamalai University, Chidambaram, and a Ph.D. at Anna University, Chennai. He has 22 years of teaching experience and industry expertise to his role. His research interests span various aspects of Electrical Engineering, including renewable energy resources, energy auditing, power quality, power electronics applications to power systems and fast-charging stations for electric vehicles. He has installed and maintains 1 MW rooftop solar power generation system integrated with the grid, addressing challenges in maximizing power export to the grid at K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode. Additionally, he is engaged with a 4 MW captive Solar Power Generation System for K.S.R. Educational Institutions to meet their energy consumption needs.

Dr. Aravindan has made significant contributions to academia through his publications, with over 19 papers in International refereed journals and 20 papers in conferences. He also organizes and chairs technical sessions at both international and national conferences. His professional affiliations include membership in esteemed organizations such as the Institution of Engineers (India) as a Chartered Electrical Engineer and Fellow Member, as well as memberships in ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education) and IAENG (International Association of Engineers). Dr.P.Aravindan’s dedication to research, teaching, and professional service exemplifies his commitment to advancing electrical engineering and contributing to sustainable energy solutions.

Dr. T. Venkatesan is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology. He has received a B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli, in 1997, the M.E. degree in Power System Engineering from Annamalai University, India, in 2002, and a Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai, in 2013. He has been teaching for 26 years in total. His research interests include energy management, economic dispatch, and unit commitment problem solution using soft computing techniques, Photovoltaic systems, Facts Devices, Matrix Converters, and Intelligent Techniques. He has mentored seven scholars in completing their Ph.D. and has been guiding four Ph.D. scholars at the moment. He has published more than 44 papers in international referred journals and 16 conference papers. He is a reviewer for reputed journals. He is involved in many international conferences as the technical chair. He is an active member of ISTE.

Mr.S.Srinivasan is a Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology. He has received a B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.E. degree in Power System Engineering from Annamalai University. He has been teaching experience for 27.5 years in total. His research interests is Power System. He has published more than 07 papers in international referred journals and 13 conference papers. He is an active life member in ISTE.

Dr.R.Balamurugan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode. He has received his M.E and Ph.D. degree from Anna University, Chennai during 2007 and 2012 respectively. He has a teaching experience of 17.06 years in total. His research interests include Power Electronics and Drives, Electric Vehicle, Power Quality and Intelligent Control of drives. He has published more than 34 papers in International refereed journals and 30 papers in conferences. Additionally, he has 02 granted design patents with 05 published patents to his credit. He has authored a book on Internet of Things and 02 book chapters. He is a recognized supervisor at Anna University, Chennai, with 02 scholars having completed their research under his guidance and currently mentoring 06 research scholars. He is a reviewer for reputed journals like, IEEE transactions on Industrial Electronics, Journal of Electrical Engineering and Technology, International Journal of Power and Energy systems, International Journal of Power Electronics and Drive Systems, International Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems, Asian Journal of Control and Conferences. He has also been acted as the Remote Centre Coordinator/AVIEW Coordinator/QEEE Coordinator at the institutional level for Faculty Development Programs (FDP) and Short-Term Training Programs (STTP) organized by IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Madras. He received Best Faculty Award in year of 2014-2015. He is an active member of ISTE, IE(I) and IAENG.

Ms.R. Radhamani is Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, K. S. Rangasamy College of Technology. She has received her B.E from Periyar University and M.E. degree from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2004 and 2010 respectively. She has a teaching experience of 19 years in total. Her research interests include Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, Computational techniques and Electric Vehicle Technology. She currently working in the research area focusing on harmonic minimization in inverter. She has published more than 06 papers in International refereed Journals and 15 papers in international Conferences. She is an active member of ISTE. She has guided 10 PG and 20 UG projects. She had attended 20 workshops, 07 FDP and 08 seminars. He had organized many events and delivered more than 05 lectures.

Dr. D. Sri Vidhya's is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and IPR Coordinator at K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode. She has received her M.E and Ph.D. degree from Anna University, Chennai. She has also completed her PG in High performance computing from CAD-Pune. She has a teaching experience of 15 years in total. Her extensive research spans various domains, including Electrical Drives, Artificial Intelligence, Converters, Renewable Energy Sources and Electric vehicle. Her contributions are evident through 30 publications in esteemed journals and presentations at international conferences, 20 patent published, 1 granted design patent and 2 copy right registered. Her remarkable publications include IEEE Transaction, SPRINGER etc. Her impactful work, such as designing innovative Matrix converter motor drive systems and exploring IoT applications for fault identification in smart grids, showcases her commitment to advancing technology in both academia and industry. Dr. D. Sri Vidhya's research endeavors extend beyond academia, exemplified by her TNSCST sanctioned project focusing on developing an electrical wheelchair for disabled individuals. She is an active member of ISTE and IE(I).

Ms.N.Kayalvizhi is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, K S Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode. She has received her M.E degree from Anna University, Chennai. She has 22 years of teaching experience. Her research interests include Power systems, and Smart Grid Technology. She has published more than 5 papers in International Refereed Journals and 4 papers in Conferences. She is an active member of ISTE.

Mr.Thangadurai A. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode - 637 215, Tamil Nadu, India. He received M.E. degree with specialization of Embedded System Technologies from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore in 2010 and obtained B.E. degree with specialization of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Anna University Chennai in 2007. He has teaching experience of about 15 years. He is an active life member of professional bodies like ISTE, ISoI, BMESI & ISSE. His area of interest includes Biomedical Instrumentation, Soft Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Mr.N.Rajasekaran is a assistant professor in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering working at K.S.Rangasamy college of Technology. He has received his M.E degree from Anna University Coimbatore. He has a teaching experience 13.7 years in total. His research interest include Electrical insulating Materials, Electrical Machines, Control systems and Power systems. He is currently working with research focusing on finding new insulating material suitable for electrical cable applications. He has published more than 10 paper in international journal publications. He has published 4 patent. His student project was funded by IEEEMA. He has secured GATE score in the year 2012 & 2013. He has organized more than 8 events to intercollege students. He has acted as resource person to other colleges. He is involved in International Conferences as Technical Chair. He is an active member of ISTE since 2013.

Ms.S.Jaividhya, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology. She has received her M.E. degree from Anna University, Chennai. She has a teaching experience of 13.5 years in total. Her research interests include Power systems, Smart grid, Artificial Intelligent Techniques. She is currently working in research area focusing on Smart grid, Transmission system, Phasor measurement unit, Phase data concentrator. She has published 08 papers in IEEE International Conferences and one in journal. She received top performing mentor certificate from NPTEL. She has authored one book chapter and published three patents. She is an active member in ISTE, Readers Club, Cultural club.

Mr.M.Dhanapal working as a Assistant Professor in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, K.S.Rangasamy college of Technology, Tiruchengode. He has received his M.E degree from Anna University Chennai. He has a teaching experience of 12.6 years. His research interest includes Power systems, Smart grid and Machine Learning. He is currently pursuing research on Smart Micro grids. He has published more than 6 paper in International Journals and 7 papers in International Conferences. He has published 4 patents and 1 book chapter. He has organized more than 3 value added courses and more than 6 one credit courses to the students. He was awarded “SAP Excellence for Top Performer” among participants through nation-wide engineering colleges in Four Week AICTE approved FDP by IIT Bombay on “Use of ICT in Education for Online and Blended Learning”. He has acted as resource person to other colleges. He is involved in International Conferences as Technical Co-Chair. He is an active member of ISTE, IAENG, IRED and IGEN.

Mr. S. Shree Ram Senthil is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology with 13 years of experience. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Power Electronics with a focus on Renewable Energy Sources. His expertise encompasses Electric Circuit Theory, Electrical Machines, Electrical Drives, Control Systems, and the application of Power Electronics in Power Systems. He holds a Master's degree in Power Electronics and Drives from Sastra University, Thanjavur, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. He has published two papers in IEEE conferences and holds one patent. He actively participates in workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs, and has also successfully organized several workshops, conferences, and skill development programs. Committed to student success, he provides mentorship and guidance, preparing them for careers in the dynamic field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Mr.E.Chandrakumar is a Assistant Professor in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering working at K.S. Rangasamy college of Technology. He has received his M.E degree from Anna University Chennai. He has a teaching experience 3.2 years in total. His research interest includes Electronic Product Design, Embedded System, Power System, Electric Vehicle. He is currently working in research area focusing on Electric Vehicle. He has published more than 04 paper in international journal peer reviewed publications. He has published 06 papers in international conferences. He has 01 patent owned for SAFETECH PEN. He has published 01 book chapter. He has received Startup fund of Rs.7.5 Lakhs from MSME – for the project “SAFETECH PEN”. He has additional responsibilities of Associate NCC Officer, KSRCT Idea Lab Tech Guru and IIC Coordinator.

Mr.P.Karthik is a assistant professor in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering working at K.S.Rangasamy college of Technology. He has received his M.E degree from Anna University Chennai. He has a teaching experience 1.5 years in total. His research interest include Electro hydraulic system, Electrical Machines, Control systems and Power systems. He is currently working with research focusing on finding hybrid model steering for heavy vehicles. He has published more than 02 paper in international journal publications. He has organized more than 10 events to intercollege students.

Dr. K. Thyagarajah, SMIEEE, MISTE, FIE(I), FIETE(I), earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and has had an illustrious academic career. He served as a faculty member at REC Surathkal (now NIT Surathkal) for 15 years, contributing significantly to Power Electronics curriculum development and laboratory establishment. He later joined K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode, in 1995 as Professor and Head of the ECE department, playing a crucial role in setting up various engineering laboratories. As the Principal of PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul, from 2002 to 2009, he led the institution to remarkable growth in infrastructure, academic programs, NBA accreditation, and student placements. His leadership extended to serving as a syndicate member of Anna University, contributing to academic reforms and affiliations. From June 2009 to February 2019, Dr. Thyagarajah served as the Principal of K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology (Autonomous), spearheading curriculum innovation, industry collaboration, and research excellence. Under his leadership, the institution attained NAAC ‘A’ and NBA accreditation for multiple programs, and substantial research funding. He established Centres of Potential Research, strengthened industry linkages, and promoted entrepreneurship through incubation centers and MoUs. His efforts in infrastructure development, faculty empowerment, and student skill enhancement have positioned the institution among Tamil Nadu’s top engineering colleges. With extensive international exposure, industry collaborations, and administrative expertise, he continues to be a visionary in technical education and institutional leadership.
